When it comes to art, oil painting was my first love

I was raised with oil paintings (not by oil paintings of course, that would be weird). My father painted a lot with oil paint and so I would always watch the process. Painting with oil paint was one of my first big loves when it comes to art. I love how it blends. Brushstrokes with different colours of paint on a canvas feels like a party. And of course, as a Dutch person, I enjoyed paintings of the old masters like Rembrandt.
